Rodeo Super Series Finale 2021

Rodeo Super Series Finale 2021

The Rodeo Super Series (RSS) launched in 2021 and hosted 8 rodeos produced by the Silver Creek Rodeo Company in Missouri, Kansas and Iowa! These rodeos were co-sanctioned with the Missouri Rodeo Cowboys Association (MRCA); the Iowa Rodeo Cowboys Association (IRCA); the Kansas Professional Rodeo Association (KPRA) and the Mid-States Rodeo Association. RSS Tour Stops included Licking, Missouri; Tarkio, Missouri; Lake City, Iowa; Winfield, KS; St. James, Missouri; Topeka, Kansas; Auxvasse, Missouri and Osceola, Missouri. Added prize money at these rodeos totaled $56,900 and at the completion of the Osceola (MO) Labor Day Rodeo total event payoffs will exceed $127,000 this year!

“We are extremely happy about this year’s Rodeo Super Series events and the rodeo committee and contestant support we have received,” stated Randy Schmutz, with Silver Creek Rodeo Company. “We’re hoping to add more rodeos and extend the scope of the Super Series in 2022, adding bigger payouts for contestants across the region! This is about the contestants and giving them opportunities and to compete at good rodeos for more money and qualify for a great year-end Finale!”

The Rodeo Super Series Year-end Finale was originally scheduled for September 17-18-19 to be held in Springfield, Missouri.

“After much consideration and discussion with a number of contestants and association directors, we are going to reschedule the Finale for the spring of 2022,” explained Schmutz. “The current date and venue conflicts with a number of existing rodeos and was originally planned a little more than 30 days ahead of the MRCA Finals in the same facility. Rescheduling our RSS year-end event is better for all involved. We are currently having talks with a number of different host communities and trying to determine a date that will be beneficial to all of our contestants. The Rodeo Super Series will host a year-end Finale and will pay out a guaranteed $25,000 in total prize money and complete the 2021 season as promised!”

Randy Schmutz will discuss the details and disclose the location and date for the Rodeo Super Series Finale during the MRCA Finals contestant meeting in Springfield, Missouri on October 23rd.
